Common Core Integrated Math 1, 2, & 3 are the first three years of high school level math courses. In each year the math content builds on the content from previous years. These classes teach the content of the old Algebra 1/2 and Geometry, but are taught in an integrated fashion. Meaning in Math 1 there is a lot of Algebra 1 content but there is also some Geometry introduced. In Math 2, there is heavy focus on Geometry and the Algebra topics taught in Math 1 are expanded upon and new ones are introduced. And by the time Math 3 is completed, students should have been exposed to and taught the remaining content from the traditional Algebra 1/2 & Geometry system. After successfully completing Math 3, students will take a 4th-year course of Math Analysis (also called Precalculus) or MRWC (Mathematical Reasoning With Connections) for seniors.
